Mark Kantor. Mark Kantor serves as an arbitrator and mediator in commercial and investment disputes, and as an Adjunct Professor at the Georgetown University Law Center (Recipient, 2006 Fahy Award for Outstanding Adjunct Professor). Mr. Kantor was a member of the World Bank Group Sanctions Board until 2017 and a member of the American Arbitration Association Board of Directors and then the AAA Council. He is Editor-in-Chief of the online journal Transnational Dispute Management. Until he retired from Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP, Mr. Kantor was a partner in the Corporate and Project Finance Groups of the Firm with a transactional practice resident in the Washington, D.C. office. Mr. Kantor is a member of numerous institutional rosters. He is a Chartered Arbitrator of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is honored in Who’s Who in America; Who’s Who in the World; Who’s Who in American Law; International Who’s Who, Commercial Arbitration; Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who's Who; Chambers USA, International Arbitrators; Best Lawyers in America; U.S. News & World Report, Tier 1 International Arbitration; and SuperLawyers.

In 2013, he was named Best Lawyers Washington DC International Arbitration - Governmental "Lawyer of the Year." Mr. Kantor was the 2011 recipient of the Arbitral Women Honorable Man Award. He is a member of the ADR Advisory Board of the International Law Institute, the Editorial Board of Global Arbitration Review and the Boards of Editors of the Journal of World Energy Law and Business and the Journal of Technology in International Arbitration. Additionally, he serves as an Associate Editor of the Oil-Gas-Energy Law Intelligence Service. Over the years, he has served repeatedly as Chair and as Vice-Chair of the DC Bar International Dispute Resolution Committee and the DC Bar International Investment and Finance Committee. Mr. Kantor is the author of Valuation for Arbitration: Compensation Standards, Valuation Methods and Expert Evidence (Kluwer 2008),named Best Book of 2008 in the OGEMID Awards, and “A Code of Conduct for Party-Appointed Experts in International Arbitration – Can One be Found?” 26 Arbitration International 323 (2010), named Best International Dispute Resolution Article of 2010 in the OGEMID Awards. He has published numerous additional articles and papers.

Craig D. Gaver. Craig is a partner at Continental PLLC. His practice focuses on legal problems that cross international boundaries. He brings to Continental over a decade of experience representing and advising sovereign states and foreign agencies, Fortune 500 companies, investment firms, and high net worth individuals in the oil and gas, renewable energy, mining, infrastructure, transportation, financial, and technology sectors on their most challenging commercial, civil, and regulatory matters.

His multifaceted practice encompasses complex litigation and arbitration before U.S. courts and international tribunals, enforcement of foreign arbitral awards, foreign investment protection under bilateral and multilateral treaties, economic sanctions and international trade, sovereign immunity, sovereign debt recovery, and public international law. Craig is also an adjunct professor at William & Mary Law School.

Amanda Tuninetti. Amanda counsels companies and states in complex international disputes. She represents clients in commercial and investor-state arbitrations, as well as public international law disputes, before international courts and tribunals.

Her practice also involves the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards and agreements to arbitrate before U.S. district courts and courts of appeal.

She has experience advising companies, governments, and trade associations on issues of international trade and investment law and policy.

 

Amanda is an adjunct professor of international law at The George Washington University Law School and maintains an active pro bono practice helping individuals in U.S. immigration matters and under international human rights law.

Momin b. Mohsin. Momin is a Junior Associate at Xtrategy, where he specialises in international arbitration and public international law. He has worked on international investment arbitrations, supporting complex cross-border disputes and the representation of sovereign states. He has also served as a Tribunal Assistant in proceedings conducted under the ICDR/AAA Rules. Momin brings to his role a strong academic foundation and practical legal experience across three jurisdictions.

He recently completed his LL.M. at Georgetown University Law Center, specialising in International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution. He also holds a J.D. from George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School and an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Nottingham in the UK.

In addition to his legal practice, Momin served as the LL.M. Advisor to the Georgetown Journal of International Law and previously as Executive Editor of George Mason’s International Law Journal. He has published on topics related to immigration and international human rights law, with articles appearing in journals such as the Santa Clara Journal of International Law and the Northwestern Journal of Human Rights..

 

Alexandra Bochnakova. Alexandra is the President of the Washington Foreign Law Society. She is an international lawyer educated and licensed in France and in the United States. She is currently working as Corporate and International Counsel at the Office of General Counsel at Finca Impact Finance, Washington DC, a microfinance institution with over 15 subsidiaries in emerging nations. Previously, she was Head of Corporate Affairs and Corporate Secretary of the Board of Directors of the holding, at Pierre Fabre Group, France, working on corporate and regulatory matters with nearly one hundred companies of the Group in France and worldwide. Prior to that, and for over 12 years, she was the founding partner of SELAS Bochnakova, a boutique law firm focused on international law and cross-border matters. In parallel, she was an Adjunct Professor at the University of Toulouse 1 Capitole and ESICAD Business School in Toulouse, France.
