2025 Annual meeting & Elections
The Washington Foreign Law Society (WFLS) held its Annual Meeting on November 19, 2025, hosted in person at the offices of Holland & Knight LLP.
The WFLS has re-elected Alexandra Bochnakova to serve as its President, confirming the Society's continued confidence in her leadership. Bochnakova officially began her term as President in October 2024, succeeding Michael Teodori. Prior to assuming the presidency, she served as Vice President of the organization.
The officers for the 2025–2026 term are:

The Society congratulates Ms. Bochnakova and all new members joining the Board of Governors, as well as the renewed ones, and thanks them for their steady commitment to the organization and its important mission.
As President of the WFLS, Alexandra Bochnakova plans to continue building on the Society's traditions and increase engagement through more in-person events, reviving the Embassy Roundtables, continuing monthly enriching programs on relevant and emerging legal topics, including the AI and Law series, and last but not least, focusing on preparing the U.S. State Department diplomatic reception.
