
On February 12, Baker & McKenzie hosted a panel discussion on significant developments in U.S. export controls in 2012. Topics included the Export Administration Regulations ( “EAR”) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”). Among other things, the panel discussed the latest developments in the Export Control Reform effort and recent enforcement trends. The panel included two private practice attorneys, Brett Johnson (Snell & Wilmer) and Jonathan Poling (Baker & McKenzie), who specialize in U.S. export control issues, and was moderated by Alexandre Lamy of Baker & McKenzie LLP.
