Description:
Mr. Harrell and Mr. Fisch will discuss the Joint Plan of Action (“JPA”) agreed and announced by the P5+1 and Iran on November 23, 2013. They will focus on the agreed implementation steps that began on January 20, 2014. This discussion will include an overview of the specific sanctions suspensions that have taken place or are planned and the U.S. and international sanctions that remain in force. An overview of the expected implementation of the JPA by the European Union will be provided by Anahita Thoms, a Principal Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, based in New York and Berlin.
