The Washington Foreign Law Society is proud to announce that U.S. Army Sergeant of Infantry, acclaimed international lawyer, longtime advocate for the rule of law and the International Criminal Court, and former Chief Prosecutor for the United States in the Nuremberg Trials’ Einsatzgruppen Case, Benjamin B. Ferencz, will receive the Society’s Harry LeRoy Jones Award at its upcoming dinner gala in recognition of his contributions to the development of international law.

Each year, the WFLS bestows the Harry LeRoy Jones Award upon an honoree who promotes the rule of law—and international law in particular—and has a profound and lasting impact on institutions dedicated to justice, international law, or scholarship.
