Corruption and its erosion of trust in public officials and institutions is dominating the US presidential election campaign, echoing similar public sentiment following the Watergate scandal. Then, as now, leadership on reforms to foster public and private sector integrity is vital to restoring trust. Please join Ambassador Stuart Eizenstat in a look back at how Carter Administration reforms, from the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act to the Ethics in Government Act, changed the rules of the game and set standards that are now gaining global traction.
