The WFLS is pleased to serve as a cooperating entity for the American Bar Association Section of International Law‘s 2017 Spring Meeting. The meeting will run from April 25-29 at the Capital Hilton, with receptions at various other nearby locations. On Wednesday, April 26, we will hear from Jennifer Fowler, the Acting Assistant Secretary for Terrorist Financing and Financial Crimes at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Through that role, she also serves as Co-Chair of the Policy Development Group of the Financial Action Task Force, which sets the standards internationally for anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism.
Then, on Thursday, April 27, do not miss a comprehensive conversation with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, Jr., and Dean Emeritus of Boston University School of Law and Section of International Law Council Member, Ron Cass. They will discuss various topics related to the Supreme Court, the law, and Justice Alito’s experiences throughout his career.
