Csaba M. Rusznak

Csaba Rusznak is a litigator in Arnold & Porter LLP’s Washington office. He focuses his practice primarily on international arbitration, as well as the representation of companies in federal and state courts around the United States.

In the international arbitration arena, Mr. Rusznak has extensive experience with investor-state arbitration before the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), and has represented sovereign governments in arbitrations involving the radio broadcasting industry, the power generation industry, and banking.

Prior to joining Arnold & Porter, Mr. Rusznak clerked for the Honorable David A. Faber, Senior United States District Judge for the Southern District of West Virginia, and for the Honorable Martin L.C. Feldman, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Mr. Rusznak graduated from Vanderbilt Law School, where he served as the Executive Articles Selection Editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. During his third year, Mr. Rusznak
worked in Vanderbilt Law School’s criminal law clinic, where he helped a team of attorneys secure post-conviction relief for a man wrongfully convicted of murder in Tennessee state court. He served as the President of Vanderbilt Law School’s Christian Legal Society during his final year.

During the second half of 2005, Mr. Rusznak worked for United States Senate Majority Leader William H. Frist, in his speechwriting office in Washington, DC.
Mr. Rusznak is certified as fluent in French and Hungarian by the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, and he is conversational with reading and writing ability in Portuguese and
German.
